published 06-15-2010

Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers is proud to announce that Dickinson native Haylee Cripe is a part of our firm, working as a summer law clerk. Cripe who joined us on May 19, 2010, is happy to be back home in Dickinson spending time with family and enjoying what has thus far been a very rewarding clerkship for us and, it seems, for Haylee too. Of her experiences so far, Cripe said, “working at Ebeltoft . Sickler has been a better experience than I ever could have expected. I was very excited when Mr. Ebeltoft called me to offer me the law clerk position, but the firm has exceeded my expectations. I’m very lucky to work with a brilliant group of lawyers. They have given me such a broad array of very substantial projects to work on since I’ve been here. The lawyers and professional staff are all so talented at what they do, and they made me feel so welcome at the firm. I can’t imagine working for a better firm than Ebeltoft . Sickler. The lawyers here are true professionals and have set an excellent example for me to follow in my legal career.”

“Haylee is just what a law clerk should be,” said Paul Ebeltoft, the firm’s President. “She is intelligent, hard-working, very productive and a joy to work with. Haylee is filled with promise and will certainly become a great lawyer.”

Cripe recently completed her first year at the University of North Dakota School of Law and is looking forward to returning this Fall. She received a Bachelor’s of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota College of Business and Public Administration in 2009. Cripe has served on the State Board of Higher Education from 2008-2009, and as the North Dakota Student Association President from 2007-2008. She was very active in Student Government at UND as well as Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity. Through Phi Beta Lambda, Cripe was able to compete nationally in various speaking and business competitions. She placed in the top ten at the national competitions in Impromptu Speaking, Business Decision Making, and Management Concepts.
