ESKGB Partner attends national civil rights conference

Matthew Kolling recently attended the national Civil Rights and Government Tort Liability Seminar in San Diego, California. The program, sponsored by the Defense Research Institute, featured nationally recognized experts on governmental liability and civil rights. Mr. Kolling participated in discussions regarding the latest legal developments for attorneys representing government entities. Highlights included seminar sessions on government defense of first amendment issues, regulation of commercial speech, including billboards and other signage, developments in qualified immunity for government agents, and the latest US Supreme Court decisions affecting government entities.

The three-day seminar provided Mr. Kolling with additional resources in his representation of governmental entities and other public organizations. Mr. Kolling is the lead attorney for Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers’ Organizational Consultants Group.
