Lawyer Jennifer Grosz gave an estate planning seminar to a group of women farmers and ranchers in Killdeer on February 22, 2010. This seminar’s focus was to provide attendees a basic knowledge of Wills, Health Care Directives, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and succession planning on farms and ranches. Medicaid issues and how they can affect succession planning were also discussed. This seminar provided a forum for the women in attendance to relate to others with similar estate planning situations. The group asked excellent questions and stirred up lively discussion regarding attendees’ experiences with estate and succession planning.
